Heating Blanket for Side Bending
Your sides are only as good as your heating blanket! With plenty of heat and the right size and flexibility, this blanket is ideal for bending acoustic guitar sides. It's included with our Side Bending System and is a perfect addition to your own setup.
For accurate bending you need a heating blanket and steel bending straps to help focus the steam and heat transfer. This blanket has even heat from end to end, ensuring your sides will conform to your bending forms without surprises or cold spots. This is crucial when you've got the heat and steam going strong!
It has the flexibility to make sure every curve of your body shape is transferred seamlessly to the side. The blanket is long and wide enough to bend sizes from 000 to J-45 and beyond.
For safety, heating blankets must always be plugged into a temperature controller. Our heat blanket has a standard two prong AC plug pre-installed, ready to seamlessly plug into our Temperature Controller.
The Heating Blanket can operate up to 400 degrees, more than you will ever need for side bending. It's perfectly suited for the 250-300 degree range that is recommended for most sides.
Warning: heating blankets can rise to over 400 degrees in minutes, please DO NOT plug in WITHOUT proper temperature control.

The Heating Blanket is a 120-volt, 1200 watt AC electrical appliance, 60Hz. It has a U.S. standard Type A plug with two flat parallel prongs, ungrounded.
