StewMAX Shipping: How It Works

StewMAX memberships are intended for personal use and may not be used for distributor or resale purposes.

StewMAX includes free standard shipping benefits on eligible orders. Here's what you can expect when using your StewMAX membership, including shipping methods, delivery timeframes, international shipping, and a few important exceptions.

Shipping Details

To provide the best shipping experience possible, StewMac may:

  • Consolidate multiple orders into a single shipment when appropriate.
  • Select the shipping carrier based on your order size, weight, and destination.
  • Limit the number of shipping addresses associated with a StewMAX membership.

How Will My Standard StewMAX Order Ship?

Our same lightning-fast order processing applies to both StewMAX and non-StewMAX orders.

United States
We select the shipping carrier based on the order’s size and delivery destination among various shippers including USPS, FedEx, and UPS.

International

We select the shipping carrier based on your order's size, weight, and destination using trusted carriers including international postal services, FedEx, and DHL.

Most lightweight international packages typically arrive within 1–3 weeks, although some shipments may take a little longer depending on destination and local customs processing.

Heavier international shipments may arrive in as little as 3–5 business days, depending on the shipping method selected.

Customs Duties and Import Taxes

International shipments may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, VAT, or other fees required by the destination country.

These charges are determined by your local customs authority and are not included with your StewMAX membership.

Shipping Exceptions

Some orders may require additional shipping charges beyond your StewMAX membership benefits.

Heavy Items
Packages containing items with an actual or dimensional weight of 7 pounds or more may require an additional handling fee. (Less than 5% of the products we sell qualify for an extra charge)

Hazardous Materials
Orders containing celluloid binding require a hazardous materials shipping fee and may only be shipped within the continental United States.

Oversized Items
Certain products, such as most Tolex, require oversized packaging and may incur an additional shipping fee charged by the carrier.
