StewMAX Shipping: How It Works

StewMAX membership cannot be used for distributor or resale purposes.

StewMac reserves the right to:

• Consolidate shipments
• Choose shipping provider based on package and destination
• Limit the number of ship-to addresses per membership account

How will my Standard StewMAX order ship?

Our same lightning-fast order processing applies to both StewMAX and non-StewMAX orders.

United States
We select the shipping method based on the order’s size and delivery destination among various shippers including USPS, FedEx, and UPS.

International
We select the shipping method based on the order’s size and delivery destination among various shippers including USPS International, FIMS (FedEx International Mail Service), DHL Express, and FedEx Economy International.

Most packages weighing 3 pounds or less will ship by FIMS (FedEx International Mail Service) or USPS First Class International with delivery by your local postal carrier. Delivery is typically within 2 weeks though some packages may take up to 4 weeks.

Heavier packages weighing more than 3 pounds may ship by FedEx Economy or DHL Express with delivery in 3-5 business days.

Will there be any Customs Duties or Import VAT?

All packages shipped internationally are subject to import taxes, customs duties and/or fees imposed by the destination country. StewMac does not assume any responsibility or have any control over these additional charges.

What additional fees may occur?

The following fees may occur and will be represented in your order total at checkout.

Heavy Fee:
Packages containing an item with an actual or dimensional weight of 7 pounds or more may incur a handling fee. Less than 5% of the products we sell qualify for an extra charge.

Hazmat Fee:
Packages containing celluloid binding require a hazmat fee. (Shipping only permitted within continental U.S.)

Oversize Fees:
Most orders for Tolex must be shipped in a package longer than 48”, which requires a fee charged by the shipper.
