StewMac Top-Load Hardtail Bridge
The classic hardtail.
Top-loading bridges have anchored strings since the early solidbody days. Strings load through the rear lip, pass over the saddles, and run to the tuners without passing through the body. It keeps the back free of holes and ferrules, so the install stays simple.
The individual block saddles let you adjust for height and intonation. And the top-loading design means faster string changes and no through-body drilling. It's the same silhouette that's been sitting on solidbodies since the beginning.
