StewMac 7-String Hardtail Bridge
StewMac 7-String Hardtail Bridge
Choose the spread that fits the build.
Seven string guitars put more demand on the bridge layout. The spacing has to feel right under the picking hand, line up with the neck and pickups, and leave the outside strings with space at the fingerboard edges. This hardtail comes in 10.5 mm and 10.8 mm spacing, so you can match the bridge to the neck and hardware you’re building around.
The string-through-body design gives each string a solid break-angle over the saddle, while the steel baseplate mounts flat to the body with four screws. The individual saddles let you set string height and intonation for each string.
The feel of a 7-string guitar starts at the bridge. And the spacing options let you choose the right string alignment for your build.
