Switchcraft Output Jack

About This Item

The industry standard for output jacks, and we've got them for mono and stereo applications.

These Switchcraft™ jacks accept standard 1/4" plugs. A mono jack is suitable for most guitars; a stereo jack can be used for stereo wiring, or to enable onboard active electronics when a 1/4" mono plug is inserted.

Choose the long thread jack for guitars and basses that have a thick top or control plate. The extra threads give the nut a bit more to bite on. Great for older Gibsons like the SG and EB bass.

  • Required mounting hole diameter: 3/8" (9.53mm)
  • Thread: 3/8 x 32
  • Thread height: 1/4" (6.35mm)
  • Long thread height: 3/8" (9.53mm)

Mounting nut and flat washer included.

Just used this jack on a re-wire I did on my Fender Jazzmaster HH.It feels solid and holds the cable jack tightly.Just what I needed and it's nice to be able to get these kind of parts at Stewmac where I buy my tools, just makes things a bit easier.

I needed to replace the output jack on my Tele because it was shorting out, I took the old one out and replaced it with with the new one. It was easy to install and now the guitar is working fine.

Had an old Ibanez Gio guitar a friend gave me 11 years ago, a lot of parts were taken off of it and he didn't play. I started repairing it back then and got really sick, now it's 2021 things are back on tract hooked up with the friend and he wants to learn so I'm finishing the Ibanez for him. This jack is perfect nice and tight!

I've now used the long Switchcraft jacks on my hollow body guitars. They provide a more positive connection and therefore, better signal, which equals better tone and response. I will always use them on every guitar I own.

I received a trashed Lyle SG style late 60’s/early 70’s guitar from my neighbor. It had clearly had some rewiring done and had a stereo output jack in it and the ground was burnt. I wasn’t sure why the stereo one was in there ( no battery or anything and only the neck pickup was working with the original hookup , so I bought both a stereo ( just in case ) and mono from Stewmac. Bottom line: mono was all I needed . Plays great.

Stewmac quality

I made a looper pedal with a Fulltone 3PDT. Ordered 4 jacks that were supposed to be Switchcraft at a good price. They had a Switchcraft stamp, but now I think they were knockoffs. Never again. I spent days trying to figure out why no signal. I thought it was my wiring, then I called Fulltone and they stepped me through a check of the 3PDT switch. It was fine. So I decided it had to be one of the four jacks. So I placed an order for 4 mono Switchcraft jacks from Stewmac. It now works like a charm. Lesson learned! Quality you can count on.
