Mango (Mangifera indica) is becoming increasingly appreciated among builders for its unique combination of visual character and tonal warmth. High-quality, well-figured sets like these are not commonly available, and finding complete top, back, and side sets with this level of consistency is even more uncommon.

This small collection represents a particularly strong example of what makes Mango special. These sets feature high flame figure, with deep, rolling curl that carries across the top, back, and sides to create a cohesive, visually unified instrument. Combined with Mango's natural color variation, the result is a tonewood that delivers both impact and balance from every angle.
Visually, Mango shares some similarities with Koa, but with greater variation and contrast. Colors range from golden amber to darker browns, often with dramatic shifts in tone and subtle figuring layered throughout. In a fully matched set like this, those characteristics come together to create a guitar with a consistent and highly expressive look.

Tonally, Mango offers a warm, balanced response with a strong midrange and a slightly softer attack than Maple. It shares some characteristics with Mahogany, but with added complexity and a more open, relaxed voice. Used across the entire instrument, Mango produces a cohesive tonal character that is responsive, musical, and well suited to a wide range of playing styles.
