We uncovered a small collection of 3-4 piece Basswood (Tilia americana) guitar body blanks. These blanks have a few minor imperfections (pin knots, color streaks, etc.) making them perfect for opaque finishes.
Basswood has a rich sonic signature: a present and focused midrange with bass frequencies that never get muddy. Basswood has been a favorite of Ibanez Guitars for decades.
