These African Mahogany (Khaya senegalensis) body blanks are the perfect size for electric guitars. These blanks have a few minor imperfections (pin knots, color streaks, etc.) making them ideal for opaque finishes.
While not a "true" mahogany, African Mahogany shares many of the sonic properties of its South American namesake. The tone is balanced with a strong midrange with plenty of punch—exactly what you want from an electric guitar.
Each blank is 3-4 pieces and expertly joined and sanded—ready for you to start your build.

About African Mahogany
While it's denser and more fibrous than Honduran Mahogany, African Mahogany works and cuts well with both hand and power tools. The open pores require grain filler to level the grain.
