Soncially, this tube has warm lower mids and a silky top end, exactly like the classic RCA and GE-made versions from the 50s and 60s. The complex midrange and sweet heights really set its tone apart from the rest. When pushed, the mids really sing and don't get muddy. It's also the perfect choice for vintage Fender amps like the Bassman, Twin, or Super Reverb.
It's also very versatile. The smaller size means you can swap it with 5881 and other 6L6 tubes with ease.
