Hot Rod Low-profile 2-Way Truss Rod

Easy to install in guitars, banjos and basses! Great for thinner necks that need a shallow truss rod depth. These strong, 2-way adjustable rods correct both upbow and backbow.

Used by Martin, Epiphone, Ibanez, Squier, ESP and Godin.

This ingenious dual-rod design fits a straight 1/4"-wide x 3/8"-deep channel (measured from the bottom of the fingerboard). The adjustment nut turns smoothly inside a nickel-plated sleeve, requiring a 4mm Allen wrench (not included). The steel rods are shrink wrapped to prevent rattling.

The low profile means you don't have to remove risky amounts of wood to install this two-way rod. That means there's less chance of cutting into your truss rod channel when shaping a thin neck.

"I've used these rods with great results, in new builds as well as replacements. They’re very strong, and easy to install."
