Familiar humbucker tone with a custom cover
We loved the look of the storied Fender Wide Range humbucker, but wanted the versatile tone of the Alnico 5 magnet. Once we combined the two we got the best of both worlds—and it fits in standard humbucker routs, pickguards, and mounting rings.
The offset cover exposes the polespieces closer to the bridge, letting you tune the treble strings for a perfectly balanced attack. It's easy to make your chords sound fuller with more high end sparkle. The Alnico 5 magnet produces a tone with well defined highs, great mid-range punch, and clear, smooth bass.
Each is custom-wound for neck and bridge positions. The bridge is wound hotter for a more balanced tone and output.
