Five-Star Banjo Rim Rod
Single and dual rim rod sets for open-back and resonator banjos.
The rods are sturdy nickel-plated brass with 5/16-24 threads. Neck attachment hardware, tailpiece bracket and instructions are included.
Single Rim Rod Set: Fits 11"-diameter rims that use bracket shoes. 10-1/2" (267mm) long, with 2" (51mm) threaded section.
Dual Rim Rod Set: Mastertone-style fits our Bluegrass Banjo Pot, or similar pots fitted with a one-piece resonator flange.
Upper Rod: 9-7/8" (250mm), with 1-3/8" (35mm) threaded section.
Lower Rod: 10-1/2" (267mm), with 2" (51mm) threaded section.
Long Nut Dual Rim Rod Set: As found on Mastertone banjos from the late ’20s through the ’40s. The long nut makes adjustments easier. A great replacement for vintage banjos, this set fits our Bluegrass Banjo Pot and similar pots with a one-piece resonator flange.
Upper Rod: 9-3/4" (248mm), with 1-1/4" (32mm) threaded section.
Lower Rod: 9-3/4" (248mm), 2" (51mm) and 1-1/4" (32mm) threaded.
Included Banjo Neck Attachment Bolts are 2-1/2" long unplated steel neck lags featuring a wood-screw thread on one end and 10-24 machine thread on the other. They may not be a direct replacement for original Gibson parts. Always measure your parts to be sure!
