Every time we cut Ziricote (Cordia dodecandra) into bookmatched guitar backs, we're occasionally left with an "orphan" back half. After a while we have a pile of beautiful wood that can't be matched into guitar sets. However, this is a beautiful assortment of instrument-grade Ziricote—perfect for countless smaller projects around the shop.

Minimum Dimensions
Each piece is approximately:

• 20-1/2" x 7-1/2" (520mm x 190mm)
• 0.15" thick (3.8mm)

Each Builder's Pack contains five Ziricote back halves. The pieces are not intended to match one another and may contain small cosmetic imperfections, but each provides plenty of beautiful, usable material for future projects.

A Shop Staple
Headplates, backstraps, heel caps, rosettes, bindings, truss rod covers, cavity covers, inlays, purflings and many other uses... having premium offcuts in your shop means you'll have access to beautiful appointments without cutting into a larger piece of wood that could otherwise be used as back and side woods.

Every piece comes from the same premium stock we use for our guitar back and side sets. Rather than letting this beautiful wood go to waste, we'd rather see it become part of your next great build.
