The Dark Tortoise Collection pairs Waverly machines with knobs and pins made from our specially blended dark tortoise, a remarkable simulation of natural tortoiseshell. Light passes through, and it looks amazingly like protected hawksbill shell. A beautiful addition to a fine guitar!
Precisely machined and highly polished—never molded
Our tuner knobs, bridge pins, end pins and strap buttons are crafted from Galalith, a dense and durable material used in vintage jewelry. Because they are individually machined, there are none of the mold lines or distortion common to cheap plastic parts. They work perfectly and are the finest you can buy.

Tuning Machines: The choice of renowned guitarmakers for their finest instruments. Waverlys feature old-style tapered string posts and press-fit brass hex bushings. Stainless steel worm gears with 16:1 gear ratio. Screws included with this set of 6 for 3+3 solid pegheads. Also Sold Separately
Bridge Pins: Set of 6 slotted pins, precision-machined to a 5-degree taper. Also Sold Separately
Endpin: Precision-machined to a 5-degree taper. Also Sold Separately
Strap Button: A beautiful addition to your neck heel, ours have a unique countersunk brass bushing to protect the button against overtightening. Also Sold Separately
