These tuner are great if you want tuners that don't have that green color to the keys. They have smooth operation and no slip.

AMAZING TUNERS, CRAPPIE SCREWS

By

Don’t get me wrong, the tuners are beautiful, they deliver more than promised, stay in tune and the perlaroid SL are one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. But the ser of screws that come with then are just junk, they where all spoiled after the first turn (no kidding, and I was carefull) so I decided to change them for a better quality ines, which I did, except one that I had to cut with a chisel to take it out. In the process, and despite protecting it with tape, it got scratched. I am upset.

Great Alternative to the bigger "Name Brand"s!

I purchased an import LP Style guitar and wanted to upgrade.
These tuners were the ticket!
They are stable and the color is great.
The only modification was that I had to slightly ream the post holes in the headstock for these bushings to fit, but the posts of these fit through the bushings that came with the guitar, so technically you don't have to ream out the holes if you use the original bushings.
I did it because I like the look of the bushings that came with the Golden Age tuners.
Great product for a great price!

After all of the cleaning and lubrication only to find out the originals are worn and not functioning correctly....new replacements that look close enough and work well. A+

Well made tuners for the price and very smooth gears, should provide years of service.

Fit my new PRS Zach Myer single cut guitar, perfectly!

Fit my new PRS Zach Myer single cut guitar, perfectly!
Same bushings so, I didn't need to change them!
Also, same screw holes, exactly so, I re-used the original screws.
Exactly the tuner upgrade I was hoping for!

For me, the 15:1 ratio is very nice. Fine enough that the tuning doesn't jump and coarse enough that it isn't a chore to change strings. Tuning is smooth and consistent from tuner to tuner. These do not appear to be made of pot metal and do indeed look like nickel plated steel. Sustain is great and strings are even.

I bought this for a 2011 Epiphone Casino Bigsby VS restore to look more like a 50's ES-330. The grommets and gear housing are very reminiscent of my 1949 ES-125 tuners. The keys are like the late 50's, single ring and the color perfectly matched the naturally aged binding of the Casino.

Installation was a breeze. Grommets pressed in without reaming or swelling. The mounting screw holes lined up very well and the screws fit perfectly.

I've used Grover Vintage 135 (for replacing modern tuners) and Gotoh Keystones and have to say, I like these just as much at almost half the price. Awesome value without tradeoffs!
