Great upgrade for my 1952 Supro Streamliner Lap Guitar!

I git this set of vintage style tuners for a 1952 Supro lap guitar I recently acquired. The original tuners had most likely broken or crumbled off and someone had installed some large Gibson like pearloid tuners that didn't look right. These tuners from StewMac fit perfectly without any modifications, took no time to install them. Very happy with these tuners.

I put these on a 1960 Gretsch Rocket lap steel, and they were an exact duplicate of the old ones. I could not be happier!

Perfect replacements.

I selected these to replace a set of original Kluson 3 on a strip tuners on a 1961 Supro Belmont. The original tuners had 3 badly bent shafts and were pretty much unusable. The Golden Age Vintage tuners were direct drop ins. The installation could not have been easier. In addition they are far more precise with a 15:1 turning ratio. I highly recommend these tuners.

They look perfect

I bought these for a 1967 Epiphone FT-45 Cortez. They look great, very convincing reproduction but I haven't installed them yet. I went for the bright Nickel finish as the aged finish seemed a bit much. One thing I did notice is the screws are a smaller diameter than the Kalamzoo originals which was disappointing to me as some of mine are nearly stripped out at the head. I will still try to use my original screws and bushings unless I get lucky and find some matches somewhere, not holding my breath. I'll age the buttons with a furniture touch-up pen.

Great looks, exact fit and great service!

The relic nickel tuners are a perfect fit for an ES-125 from '66. No reaming or extra drilling required. I'm ever so glad I did the swap, as the old tuners have built up some resistance over the years and it felt like it was just a matter of weeks before the old plastic buttons would start to crumble. Speaking of which: while the relic nickel matches almost perfectly the hardware on my old guitar, the aged color of the buttons is not as orange as the old buttons or the plastic binding. But since my guitar is an instrument and not a museum's piece, I'm more than happy with the result.

Also, many thanks to Karen at StewMac customer service for being so helpful when the mail service failed to deliver the shipment.

Seems to do the job

Replaced machines on 1964 Gibson Melody Maker. Used old bushings instead of the ones supplied because 1) to avoid reaming out the holes and 2) there was only .003 difference is bushing hole size. Also in one of the StewMac videos the guy used the old bushings in the same kind of scenario. In any case, the tuning is now very smooth and I am happy with the stability of the tuning on the instrument.
