GuitarSlinger Cryocated Aged String Tree for 50s Strat
We love a guitar that's been played hard and maybe has a few scars, it's been making music for decades. With adventures comes injury and loss—and a shiny new replacement part is going to ruin the mojo.
GuitarSlinger has expertly recreated those hard to find parts to vintage specs to restore your treasured road dog. Each hand-aged piece has the grit, grime, and vibe to be right at home on your well-loved guitar.
Cryogenically-treated hardware
Going one step further, each piece is cryogenically frozen or "cryrocated", exposing the hardware to extremely low temperatures (-292°F/-180°C) which shortens the relicing process and stabilizes the metal. GuitarSlinger states that the treated hardware has richer harmonics and higher conductivity.

Individual 13/32"-diameter (10.31mm) retainer holds down two strings.
Original 1950s look
This metal string tree screws into a Fender or similar peghead to maintain the string angle at the nut. Built just like the 1950s originals, this string tree is round for the unique look of early Strats.
Includes: 1 string retainer with mounting screw and spacer. Many early instruments only used one string retainer for the E and B string.
Pilot holes required: Installing delicate screws such as these into hard maple requires great care and accuracy. We highly recommend using a No.44 bit for the pilot hole before installing these screws. Lubricate the screw threads with cutting lubricant (also wax or a bar of soap) to reduce friction and help them thread properly.
