The traditional X-style slotted truss rod nut found on vintage and vintage reissue Fender necks.
#0969 is 8-32 thread, as used by Fender from 1957 to around 1969-70, and again in 1982 on vintage reissues. 7/8" x 3/8" (22.23mm x 9.53mm) diameter.#0973 is 10-32 thread, as used by Fender from 1959-60 to late 1971. 7/8" x 3/8" (22.23mm x 9.53mm) diameter.
