Barrel Switch Knobs for Tele

About This Item

The Barrel knob was used by Fender on the "No-caster," Broadcaster® and Telecaster® from 1954, and also on many lap steel guitars from the '40s and '50s.

Many players including Danny Gatton prefer the low profile of this black plastic knob.

The barrel knob for CRL switches fits a .052" x .188" (1.32mm x 4.78mm) lever stem.

The barrel knob for metric switches fits a .047" x .138" (1.2mm x 3.5mm) lever stem.

Important! Measure your switch lever stem before you order a replacement knob.

Perfect fit for Squier Classic Vibe 70’s Thinline Telecaster

Ordered the Barrel Switch Knob (item #0216) for my Squier Classic Vibe Thinline Telecaster. Perfect snug fit without any modification. Doesn’t look like it is coming off unless I force it off. No accidental switch knob loss during play. Way to go StewMac!

Looks and Feels Good

I put this on with a black plate. It feels good and I think looks a bit better than the cheap plastic knobs that came with my Squire Tele.

Problem solved!

I recently purchased a Fender Vintera 50’s Telecaster that is just about perfect in every way. Great guitar. Unfortunately, the pickup switch knob was too loose and kept coming off. I tried pushing it down further but then the switch didn’t quite work right. A couple of dollars spent on Stew Mac’s barrel knobs solved the problem immediately. Now the Tele is a keeper! Thanks, Stew Mac!

Great alternative to the "top-hat" style of Tele knob.

Got this little barrel switch knob to replace the "top-hat" style of Tele knob that came on my USA-made G&L ASAT Bluesboy. I really prefer this smaller knob, as it stays out of the way of my volume pot when playing.
It fit perfectly on my switch, and doesn't come loose. Great upgrade for something that was aggravating, and I didn't have to change my switchplate to the one with the diagonal selector switch.

The knobs on an older Telecaster were chipped (for some odd reason) and these did the trick.

Bought this to replace OEM piece that came off and would not stay on, bought a replacement at GC that kept falling off as welll. This piece from StewMac works great!
