Waverly Ivoroid Endpin

About This Item

Hand-turned to match our bridge pins! Complete your guitar with a finely crafted endpin to match our bridge pins.

Each endpin is machined (not molded) and handsomely polished.

We recommend our Endpin Reamer for matching the 5-degree taper of these endpins.

Jewelry for your guitarA vintage material is reborn
Our ivoroid bridge pins, endpins and strap buttons are made of Galalith, a dense and durable casein-based material that polishes beautifully. Popular in the early 20th century, Galalith is found today in collectible vintage jewelry. It cannot be molded; each pin is precisely machined and has none of the unsightly mold lines common to plastic pins.

Our ivoroid pins match the knobs on Waverly guitar tuning machines.

Not original, but correct for the owner of this 1952 Gibson L7

This old beauty came into my shop for a set up. The owner said one thing he'd love to do was find a suitable replacement for the end pin that was missing when he acquired the guitar. He chose the Waverly Ivoroid Endpin with the black dot. After the guitar was done he said the end pin looked like it has always been there.

Looks great

I hate ugly pickup jacks on acoustic guitars and am even more frustrated with strap attachments. Have about a dozen of various types and don’t like any. Finally I ordered this one and used my sanding station to mill down the pin to the point it will fit snugly in the female jack socket. Now and strap will work like it should and it looks a lot better. I realize this is not an authorized use of the product.

This is a very nice end pin with a smooth finish and clean inlay of the black dot. Quality high enough to go on any guitar.

Really nice pin.

I recently installed this end pin on my Recording King Troubadour to match the strap button I put on at the same time. It was a bit small so I put some Teflon tape around the shaft of the pin. Works great, holds great, looks great.

I am restoring several old Silvertone and Harmony guitars. I bought one of these to replace a damaged endpin on one of the guitars. The look is awesome, perfect for an older guitar. Now I'm going to replace the endpins on the rest.

Beautiful end pin to finish off a special guitar.

Beautiful ivoroid plastic, and it's machined and polished, not molded (no seams or parting lines). Much nicer than your average plastic end pin. The taper is a whisker smaller than a standard Martin end pin, so if you're replacing a pin, it might be a bit loose. a layer or two of teflon or cellophane tape will make up the difference if necessary.

This is a good quality end pin that I would recommend to anyone. Much better than your standard molded plastic.

Good quality end-pin. Nice taper for tight (without glue) fit.
