StewMac Thin-Body Tailpiece
For the build that can't take a stopbar.
Installing a standard stopbar means drilling deep holes and pressing bushings into the wood. If your guitar body is too thin to support that, this surface-mounted tailpiece provides a secure alternative. It fastens directly to the top of the instrument with a three-screw mounting plate.
Strings load cleanly through the slotted rear wall for a straightforward setup. This style of tailpiece was originally developed to accommodate the thin mahogany bodies of vintage 1275 doublenecks.
