Modern 7-string builds need mass and stability, but players don't always want a giant bridge dominating the guitar top. This Hipshot-style hardtail keeps the baseplate compact while still giving every string an individual saddle for exact height and intonation.
The raised side walls lock those saddles in place, minimizing side-to-side shifting and rattle. Combined with a string-through-body design, it provides a tight, locked-down setup for extended-range guitars.
