StewMac Gravity Saddle 4-String Bass Bridge
Don't fight the tension.
On most bass bridges, a rear intonation screw sets each saddle position, and that screw can get in the way when you're loading strings from behind. The Gravity Saddle works differently. String tension pulls each saddle into the baseplate, where it locks in place with a side grub screw.
The bridge base and saddles are contoured with a smoother, more gradual slope across the top, giving it a smoother, more comfortable feel under your hand when you mute.
