A must have for files By Barry Harrell from Panama City Beach, FL Monday, March 2, 2020 Verified Buyer This cleaning brush is perfect for fret files. It gets right in and gets the crud out fast so you can move on to the next fret. The only bad thing (why I gave it four and not five stars) is that they can stick you in the finger (the wires stick out on both ends. So I put some of that tape that sticks to itself (looks like electrical tape) around it and it is a lot more comfortable. Plus, when the one side is too dirty and/or worn out, I can take the tape off and use the other end.
Perfect little tool By Michael DiPaolo from Chalfont, Pa Thursday, June 20, 2019 Verified Buyer I’ve seen some of the reviews from few years ago saying bristles are a bit loose. Mine is in perfect working condition, tight bristles, and being that it’s brass, it won’t dull your files!!
Great little product By Philip Menendez from Punta Gorda, FL Saturday, June 8, 2019 Verified Buyer Does what it's supposed to.
Gets the job done By Jeremy from American Axe Music Tuesday, May 9, 2017 Verified Buyer Exactly what I was looking for- small & compact to fit into my tool box. Bristles can be adjusted in sleeve & are high quality.
Find any other brass brush. By K.W. La Due from NY Friday, December 16, 2016 Verified Buyer Cleaning your razor files with a brass brush is an excellent idea, but this thing is too small to be easily handled. The bristles on the upper end like to stab your fingers while you use the other end on the file. The bristles are too short. When it arrived, I felt like I paid eleven dollars and change for something shat clearly should cost about two dollars. Really, this thing is just not worth the price.
Clamp each end strongly in a vice By Richard Dixon from Scottsdale Sunday, September 14, 2014 Verified Buyer Bristles are very loose. You must clamp each end strongly in a vice to tighten the bristles but why should this be necessary when purchasing a professional tool at a premium price?
Works well By Erik H. from USA Wednesday, June 4, 2014 Verified Buyer A simple brush for cleaning metal shavings from files. The binding is a little loose so clamping it down at the ends with some pliers helps keep the bristles in.
