Seymour Duncan's take on the classic single coil sound. A calibrated three pickup set for Stratocaster players who are seeking that bright vintage tone from their modern set-up instruments

The Vintage Flat for Strat Calibrated Set has a great sounding tone that will provide that familiar, glassy sparkle to any Stratocaster. The vintage output coils give this pickup a chimey, bright quality, and the flat, hand ground sand cast Alnico 5 rod magnets bring an even string balance, and overall smoothness to guitars with flatter fretboards and players using lighter string gauges. The middle pickup is reverse wound/reverse polarity to give you hum-canceling in positions 2 & 4, along with the perfect clucky in-between sound.

As a set, the bridge pickup is wound slightly hotter for better overall balance. Aside from the flat pole pieces, they use the same materials to build these as they do for vintage Fender style single coil pickups. They start by assembling the bobbins with the proper color and thickness of Forbon flatwork, and they hand file the flatwork, assemble, and lacquer our bobbins just as it was done during Fenders Golden Age.

These pickups are wax potted and come complete with waxed and tinned cloth pushback hook-up wires and traditional keyed bottom plates.
