StewMac Fat Pole Pickups for Jazz Bass

Get more low end response and deeper midrange from your favorite bass. Finally capture all the articulation in your playing.

Beef up your bass
Traditional Jazz Bass pickups sound great, but sometimes you need more power to get the rumbling tone you're looking for. That's where these fat poles make all the difference. The oversized polepieces capture more of the string vibration and attack, letting your playing style shine through. Played with a pick or with your fingers, you'll experience a bolder, more expressive tone.

The Alnico 5 magnets produce a clear tone with more pronounced highs and a tighter low end, perfect for bass frequencies. And they're a drop-in replacement for countless basses, no need to rout!

Use them as a set
When using the neck and bridge as a set, the reverse-wound, reverse-polarity coils are hum-cancelling when both pickups are at full volume.
