The original springs/tubing in the Fender Jaguar were either not installed or I lost them changing out the PU's for better ones...these will work just fine.

These springs are simple to install and does a better job at levelling the pickups than the OEM surgical tubing.

Big improvement over rubber tubing.

Not much to talk about! I was working on a Mexican Strat that had old, rotting tubing for the pickup height. Springs are springs and did the job nicely. More than anything, getting free shipping with my membership makes is really easy to fix little things without worrying about a big order.

These replaced surgical tubing. Jason Lollar maintains springs sound better & I think he's right. Believe it or not, combined w/3ply guard replacing single ply improved unamplified tone (my std. for evaluation) on my Strat. Recommended!

I made the switch to springs after reading comments that silicone tubing overdamps the pickups. I can't say that I hear any sonic difference.

The improvement however was mechanical. With the silicone tubing, I found the pickups were tilted.

Switching to the springs, the pickups stay vertical (facing the WIDE part of the spring to (for example) a Strat's pickguard.

Then next Stewmac order, I'll order lots of spares for my toolbox.
