workable replacement

I bought this for a Squier Telecaster. It did not fit snugly, and required a bit of adjustment. However, it is good now, and has turned out to be a suitable replacement.

I first learned about StewMac in the '70s. I love their products. The Telecaster parts are exceptional.

Did the Trick

I have an American Deluxe Tele with a barrell type of switch end. The dang thing kept slipping off. I tried tape to make it tighter, but it didn't help. So I searched and found this switch end here. I figured if it didn't work, I wasn't out much money.

Hey, couldn't be happier. The slit the switch end goes into was a little too small, so I used a knife so it would fit in it. Had to tap it in, it was still that tight. This toggle end is on tight, tight, tight.no sliding off issues at all. Problen solved, so I am a happy Tele picker once again.

Looks cool.

Just be careful to order the correct size (measure the switch stem). They look cool on custom colored partscasters (shell pink, seafoam green, fiesta red, etc.).
