Nice Cables for a Princeton Reverb Head By Barry Loos from Independence, KY Tuesday, October 27, 2020 Verified Buyer The 36” cable gave me plenty of length to install the reverb tank in my Princeton Reverb Head. I turned the tank with the cable jacks facing the front to get the tank’s red input end farther away from the amp’s power transformer to reduce interference. That move still left me with more than enough cable. I coiled the excess cable and secured it in the strain relief. The cable’s right angle jacks plugged right into the tank and the RCA jacks on back of the chassis. Simple installation with very good results.
Flimsy center conductor, shield not braided. By Spencer Klein from Chicago, IL Saturday, March 30, 2019 Verified Buyer These are probably fine if you want to use them as end to end cables. However, if you're a tech and want to make an internal circuit connection (spliced and soldered), say, to install a reverb tank or something-- be warned-- the shield is sub-par, copper wire wrapped around the center conductor and not braided. Worse is the center conductor's insulation is very stiff and difficult to work with. Worse still is the center conductor is very flimsy, thin stranded copper wire. I definitely would look for better shielded cable if you're planning on making an internal connection.
