Speaker 1: I am going to show you how to program the temperature range on your StewMac Side Bender. After you turn on the device, remember to plug in the thermocouple. This is the contact wire you'll affix to the heating blanket when it's time to bend [Speaker 1 plugs the thermocouple into the yellow port]. When you plug it in, the display will show you the current temperature [on-screen text reads: Current temperature is the number on top, set temperature is the number on the bottom].
Now, let's program the control's temperature range. Press and hold down the P button. The screen will display "Atun" in red. Continue holding it. Next, the screen will display "type". Release the P button. Press and release the P button until you see SPLL [on-screen text reads: SPLL = Set Point Low Limit]. Use the up and down arrow buttons to set the desired minimum temperature. To set the maximum temperature, press P again until you see SPHL [on-screen text reads: SPHL = Set Point High LImit]. Use the up and down arrow buttons to set the desired maximum, press and release the P button until you see the current temperature. The controller will store the last temperature range you used. Always check the green temperature before plugging in the blanket. Now, you're ready to bend.
