Spring Steel Straps for Side Bending
A flexible .012" stainless spring steel strap for covering a wet or steamed wooden instrument side when using the bending iron.
The strap supports the wood surface opposite the bending iron, traps moisture for easier bending and helps minimize wood split-out. It springs back flat for reuse. 4" x 24" for guitar.

Attach Stikit sandpaper and the strap becomes a flexible sander. Get dead-flat sides for cleaner binding channels with no humps or irregularities. Plus, less chance of sanding through when it comes time to finishing. Michael Greenfield explains in this video.
