A timeless heritage, an unmistakable sound
Originally introduced in 1942, Gibson’s® J-45® quickly made a name for itself as a dependable workhorse with a sweet, mellow, balanced sound. Known as a “sloped-shoulder” dreadnought on account of its rounded, sloping upper bought, this style of dreadnought has been played by some of the biggest names in music.
