Gotoh In-Tune Compensated Saddles For Tele

About This Item

They look original, but they play in tune!
The problem with vintage Tele® saddles is that they weren't designed for accurate intonation. These Gotoh replacements provide precise tuning while keeping the vintage look.

Built-in compensation
Unique grooves molded into these saddles move each string's point of contact for more exact intonation than traditional barrel saddles.

Choose brass for traditional Tele twang or titanium for rich harmonic overtones and long sustain.

Gotoh's In-Tune saddles fit any vintage-style Tele bridge. Each saddle is reversible and can be used in any position.

Diameter: 0.310" (7.87mm)
String Spread: 2-1/8" (53.98mm)

Set of 3 includes steel intonation screws and springs.

Third set of these I've bought!

Best set of compensated Tele saddles available, IMO.

Pleased With Purchase - Timely Delivery

Saddles are exactly what I needed. The Gotoh's have a string groove versus a flat spot. The strings stay in place & don't wander where you can lose a little intonation.Delivered two days earlier than promised, which is unusual during the current Covid situation.

Much better than stock on my Brad Paisley fender telecaster.

Not Clearly better than the Fender Part

By

These are nicely made and have a transition cut where the string lays that makes the transition point on the saddle more apparent than the original Fender part (which simply has a grove to space the strings). The guitar, a Fender Telecaster Player Special (Mexico) had pretty good intonation to start with and I found it easy to achieve with these Saddles Note that the height adjusting screws use very small Allen keys which are not included. It's a nice enough part and might be a better choice on a clone guitar than a replacement for the Fender OEM part but no harm done. I might have held out for the titanium part.

GREAT SADDLES FOR TELE

Much better saddles than the ones I replaced. The grooves make all the difference. Very easy to set up and intonation is almost built-in. So far, so good. I highly recommend these Gotoh comp. saddles.

Avoid these if you like low action

By

Verified Buyer

I need to amend my earlier review. These saddles are large, full barrel with no underneath relief. If you like low action, you won't be able to get it, no matter how straight you adjust the neck. They are well made and very solid saddles that did help with intonation. But I went back to my original uncompensated barrels because they did have a bevel on the bottom. I adjusted the intonation pretty close and I can live with the slight imperfection. I'd rather have the low action than perfect intonation. Not bad saddles, but not for me.

Great but a diagram would have helped

Nice and solid and they seemed to do much better than my barrel saddles. But to tell the truth, I'm not even sure I put them in correctly. They did not come with any diagram and many pics on the net are conflicting.

They solved nearly all my problems!

I was dissatisfied with my other compensated saddles so I read all of the reviews on these and ordered a set of brass ones. Now I have intonation I can live with, good string spacing, and much less string breakage. I'm very happy with them.
