Great Finishing Resource

Updated my original first edition to this one. Great resource. Would love to see a recipe for the Ramirez "orange" classical guitars. I know some classical builders will use rosewood dust in lacquer thinner, strain, and mix with lacquer for a colored tint on spruce tops like John Gilbert Sitka spruce classical guitars.

Excellent resource for beginners like me! Only wish the section on "high tech" finishes didn't drop the ball.

Worth a look

I did wonder whether this book would be worthwhile as there's a ton of 'how to' videos on Youtube. But there's a lot of interesting background information on materials and techniques which fill in the gaps not covered by the videos. Recommended.
