The rare 5A blister quilt exhibits an incredible mix of three-dimensional shapes. The textures are so varied and intense, it looks like you could pop one of the bubbles if you touched it. Combined with the birdseye figuring throughout, every inch has something new to see. Hard Maple is known for a bright and balanced tone, with remarkable note separation and clarity.

Like most maples, it finishes easily and looks beautiful under any stain or translucent color. From classic sunbursts to modern gradient finishes, it's easy to accentuate the figure for a truly three-dimensional finish. It works well with hand tools, power tools, and CNC. Chip-out can occur with highly figured wood, but using razor-sharp cutters and taking light passes can help prevent this.
