No screws, no drilling
Unlike most tuners that use screws to align and stabalize each tuner, these have 2 pins hidden on the backside of the tuner housing. It's a cleaner, more contemporary look. And no mounting holes drilled into your headstock gives you more freedom should you choose to change your tuners in the future.
