"Courses are designed to provide working professionals the opportunity to learn high-level repair in a friendly, non-threatening environment at a reasonable cost."
The first course focuses on everyday repairs in a busy lutherie shop. All aspects of acoustic and electric guitar setup, nut and saddle making, common fret issues (level, crown, polish), minor finish repair, tuner replacement, pickup installation and electrical repairs. The second course focuses more advanced techniques and includes full refret (regular and bar frets), making a period correct pyramid bridge, many techniques for crack repair, neck reset, French polish, regluing loose bracing, and internal repairs.
