ColorTone Aerosol Finishing Set for Vintage White
Get the perfectly aged look of a vintage white finish at home
Here’s everything you need for a vintage white finish without complicated and expensive spray equipment. Don't waste hours endlessly chasing down the materials you need—we've done the hard work for you!
This Vintage White is an opaque color, which we formulated to match an aged version of the Fender classic Olympic White.
Professional results anywhere
ColorTone nitrocellulose aerosols are designed for professional finishing. These aerosols are easy to apply—even if you're a beginner you'll get a finish you'll be proud of. Nitro lacquer is the traditional choice for fine instruments, and is what guitars from the Golden Era were finished with.
Completely finish one instrument from start to finish.
It's all there—from filling the pores to spraying the final clear coat. Our R&D team worked hard to make this set the easiest way to get a professional-quality finish. The aerosols are simple to apply and go on smooth, even for beginners.
"I see a lot of vintage guitars in my shop. Most aerosols don't really come close to looking like the colors they are intended to. These ColorTone finishes nail the look of vintage beauties I've had on my bench."

Tip: Use warm lacquer for better results
Pro shops spray heated lacquer because cold lacquer spatters, requiring extra sanding. You should warm up your aerosol lacquer too, simply soak the cans in a sink of warm tap water. See our video with even more tips on how to spray a professional finish at home.
