Liquify. By Richard from Sherman Oaks, CA Thursday, March 4, 2021 Verified Buyer Impossible to apply to a nut slot unless you're in Texas in July. I dig a bit out and place on a folded bit of tin foil and melt with a torch lighter and apply with a very fine artists brush. You have to re-heat for every slot. Works like a charm as the Graphite medium is wax

A must have for lubricating nut slots By Dan SG from OH Wednesday, April 8, 2020 Verified Buyer I own 2 old Japan twelve string acoustic guitars. One is 46 years old, the other is 52 years old. Literal nightmare with strings binding in cheap plastic nuts even after cutting the nut slots properly. This guitar grease to my surprise actually works... and nothing else did. It looks like chap stick with graphite in it. Easy to get it in the slots with a toothpick...and it stays put. This saved me time, money and the aggravation of making new nuts.
Fixed tuning problem. By Seann Xenja from Graton, CA Monday, March 9, 2020 Verified Buyer I have a vintage Martin with the original tuners, and the A string was hard to adjust. The guitar grease fixed the problem right away.
Fender Bass By Craig Groscurth from Walled Lake, MI Thursday, February 13, 2020 Verified Buyer I saw Dan Erlewine’s video on sticky Fender Bass tuners, and bought some for my ‘74 Jazz Bass. Following Dans instructions, this stuff worked great, and worked exactly as he said it would! Including a small applicator would be a nice addition, and shipping from StewMac is always too pricey, but I feel it’s a very good product
