Lightcycle Phasor II Optical Phaser Pedal

The Phaser That Changed Everything
In the 1970s, the Mu-Tron Phasor II rewrote what a phaser could be. Not just a simple one-knob swirl, but a studio-quality optical circuit that gave players precise control over lush, dynamic textures right at their feet. Suddenly, you could recreate the feel of double-tracking, synth sweeps, rotary speakers, even spacey soundscapes—live, on stage. The sound was liquid, inspiring, and unforgettable.

But originals are rare and expensive, often fetching $500 or more on Reverb today. And even if you found one, decades of wear make them temperamental and unreliable. That's why we built the Lightcycle Phasor II—to capture that lush modulation and make it reliable, accessible, and ready for modern pedalboards.

What Tone Aficionados are Saying

"Ok, I'll admit it… the new Lightcycle Phaser II by StewMac is my new favorite pedal for *THAT* tone."
Ben Cote, LA Based guitarist and Instagrammer

"… a really great sounding optical phaser that excels at gooey vintage style sounds and cool rotary speaker effects."
Nick Millevoi, Premier Guitar

"The Phasor II is absolutely mwah! …wonderful."
Andy Ferris, Guitar Geek YouTube Channel

"Sounds great...from country to Gilmour this thing covers it. Slow it has a univibe feel. Fast it has a Leslie feel. Just an awesome addition to my board."
Elliott, South Carolina

"Sound is dead on for what I was looking for. Big swirly Univibe/Phaser goodness, just gotta rip the National Anthem with this one."
Phil, USA

Vintage Vibe, Modern Reliability
The Mu-Tron Phasor II changed the game. The Lightcycle keeps the magic alive—without the headaches of unreliable vintage gear or DIY builds. It's the lush, controllable phaser that belongs on every modern board.

From Kit to Classic
Several years ago we introduced this pedal as DIY kit, and it quickly became a beloved favorite for its rich tones and controllability. But along with the praise, we kept hearing the same thing over-and-over:
"I love the sound… I just wish I didn't have to build it."
That's when it hit us. There are really two types of people in this world:

The "I GET to build it" folks — who love every solder joint, every resistor, and that euphoria you get when you plug it in for the first time and IT WORKS!

And the "I HAVE to build it?" folks — who just want the tone, not the workbench.

No judgement either way. We get it.
