Dan Erlewine: Here's a neat set of tools for working on the bridge that comes from TJ Thompson. These are nylon cauls that can be washed or heated if you want a little warmth. And this one is stepped on each end so that it fits over the brace, but bears against the top and the bridge plate. A perfect thing to put your clamp against. It comes with two curved cauls with a rubber facing on it, and they're perfect for gluing on a Martin Bridge or a Gibson Bridge. And this outfit also comes with a really cool caul for the top of a bridge. It was made to fit a Martin Bridge, TJ's specialty. It's not so that it can sit over a saddle. A lot of times you have to glue a bridge and not take the saddle out. It also fits a Gibson Bridge real nice to this reverse belly bridge and a lot of other ones. There's another fine set of repair tools from TJ Thompson. They're neat, accurate, and clean.
