Emerson Pro CTS Blender/No-load Pot Instructions

Blender: The Emerson Pro High End CTS Blender Pot mixes the neck and bridge pickups without affecting the five-way switch. It controls the volume of each pickup and can even get all three. The middle pot becomes the master tone for the whole guitar.

No-load: Between positions 9 and 10, the blender pot is completely removed from the circuit. No change in wiring is needed; simply swap the Blender/No-load pot for your existing tone pot.

Switch and Blender Pot Functions

Blender Pot on 10:

Position 1: Bridge
Position 2: Bridge and middle
Position 3: Middle
Position 4: Middle and neck
Position 5: Neck

Blender Pot on 1-9:

Position 1: Bridge with neck pickup faded in
Position 2: Bridge and middle with neck pickup faded in
Position 3: Middle
Position 4: Middle and neck with bridge pickup faded in
Position 5: Neck with bridge pickup faded in
