Builders have been using Madagascar Rosewood as an alternative to Brazilian Rosewood for decades. With its rich, complex colors and beautiful interlocking grain, it makes a wonderful choice for electric guitar tops.

Madagascar Rosewood displays a rich mix of browns, reds, and purples with black ink lines moving throughout the grain. Each piece is totally unique with a look all its own.

It works very easily, and is less prone to splitting, cracking, and warping than its Brazilian cousin.
