These Alder (Alnus rubra) guitar body blanks are ready for shaping and bandsawing in your shop. These blanks have a few minor imperfections (pin knots, color streaks, etc.) making them perfect for opaque finishes.

About Alder
Fender's main wood from the 1960s onward, Alder is a big part of what we know as the vintage Fullerton sound. Lightweight and easy to work with, Alder is an all time classic for electric guitars.
It produces an extremely resonant guitar with a focused midrange, bright highs, and clear bass. It cuts, sands, and glues extremely well. Alder is closed-grained so it doesn't require pore filling.
