Five-Star Bacon FF Banjo Tone Ring

Classic dished tone ring design for open-back and internal-resonator banjos.

The Five-Star Bacon tone ring brings bright, rich overtones to old-time playing styles. It consists of a round steel hoop with the distinctive dished spun-brass sleeve originally used in early 20th century Bacon model FF internal-resonator banjos. Today it's the heart of several fine sounding open-back models from banjomakers Bart Reiter, Brooks Masten, Mike Ramsey and others.

Fits an 11"-diameter banjo rim. For proper fit, measure the tone ring with a dial caliper before lathe-turning your wood rim.
