It's simple, better coupling of your hardware to the guitar's body improves overall tone and sustain. With the Coupler Tailpiece Locking System there's no need for locking posts or set screws—this reversible upgrade anchors your tailpiece tight for ultimate sustain.
The replacement posts and spacer lock the tailpiece solidly against the guitar's bushings with zero movement or loss of tone. The result is excellent transfer of vibration from the strings to the body. Not only that, the Coupler also eliminates the "lean" of tailpieces that don't sit level, which also increases sustain and resonance.
You can dial in the perfect string clearance with the included three sets of different aluminum spacers. With the tailpiece at the correct height you don't have to worry about collapsing your bridge.
