Ray Ross 4-String Saddle-Less Bass Bridge

A completely new design for the traditional bass bridge. With no saddles you get increased string vibration, articulation, and complete adjustability. And it's a drop in upgrade!

Hear the entire string
Rather than utilizing a traditional saddle, the Ray Ross bridge features a tone pin that keeps the string completely straight from the bridge to the nut. This removes the "kink" from the saddle, providing increased vibrational energy through the strings to the instrument.

The saddle-less design applies nearly 100% of the string tension into the body of the bass, giving you a tone that is resonant, full-bodied, and full of sustain.

Setting height and intonation is easy with the adjustment wheels. The tone pin keeps full contact to the bridge plate and prevents it from moving over time.

Install with no drilling!
The Ray Ross Bass Bridge has flexible mounting options with seven screw holes to choose from. It also matches Fender's 5-hole bass bridge design, making it a perfect retrofit for many Jazz and P-Bass style instruments. The 2-1/4" (57mm) string spacing also matches many standard bass bridges.

Features:

  • Drop-in replacement for most Fender Jazz and Precision Bass-style bridges
  • 2-1/4" (57mm) string spacing
  • Saddle-less design
  • Simple to adjust
  • Solid naval brass
  • Weight: 0.39 lbs. (0.17 kg)
