StewMac Parsons Street Overwound Humbucker Pickups
Get more power to overdrive your amp with these overwound versions of our Parsons Street Humbuckers. It's a P.A.F. with a stronger punch!
Crafted by tone experts
Our own Erick Coleman tracked down priceless original P.A.F. humbucker sets and meticulously studied the materials and construction that gives these pickups their truly timeless tone. Once he cracked the code, that tone was undeniable!
We named these exceptional humbuckers after the famous Kalamazoo address where the holy grail of pickups, the legendary P.A.F. (Patent Applied For), was born.
True vintage sound with more output
Sometimes those 1950s PAFs were accidentally overwound at the factory, and when you find one of those rare ones, it has a little extra bite to its sound. To capture that tone, we keep winding these hot versions until we get a DC resistance in the 9.5K ohm range.
