Golden Age Humbucker Bobbins
1950s specs cast in better material
We spec'd these bobbins to match a set of original '50s Gibson humbuckers.
These are made of hard polycarbonate, with smooth polished edges that won't snag coil wires as you wind. Authentic detailing includes square-in-circle top hole.
"These are the nicest bobbins I've used. The polycarbonate is more durable than butyrate or PVC, and the quality manufacturing leaves no flashing at the mold lines. These are ready to wind right out of the box."
—Erick Coleman, guitar repairman and StewMac tech adviser
