Erick Coleman: We sell a couple of different tools for removing knobs on guitars. Deciding which one's going to work the best for you, depends on the type of work you're doing in your own shop.

The Pullit Knob Puller

This Knob Puller is a tool designed specifically for removing control knobs. It's easy to use, fits a number of common knob types, and is perfect for those who do the occasional control pot swap, or for removing knobs before polishing a guitar.

The Schatten Knob and Bushing Puller

The Schatten Knob and Bushing Puller removes guitar knobs of all kinds, and comes with a number of fittings to remove different body bushing. The tool provides an even upward pull, allowing knobs and bushings to be removed without damaging the surrounding finish of wood. I use a screwdriver in the end of the bolt to keep the tool steady. It also comes with fittings for removing a number of different bushing types, standard and metric.
